He's baaaaaaaaaack!

Huzzah!

Lindy must have been listening- he put Gerbe in the lineup tonight! I'm so thrilled! I literally did a little jump/dance in the kitchen when they said it on the pregame show. WOOOOHOOOO!

AND, not only is he in the lineup, he's playing well! Lots of energy, he's had a couple of hits (I love it when he hits people, they are all so much bigger!) and a shot or two I think. He's playing with Gaustad and Kaleta, which you may recall, was a solid like in the preseason.

And we pick it up early in the 2nd period.

EWWW Ottawa just scored.. rats. Enroth had been playing so well!

Vanek- you totally missed your man dude. NOt cool.

Golly-gee, but Goose grows such a foxy 2-day beard.

And speaking of the Goose, he just got hisself a sweet goal. Nice work by Leopold to put it on net and Goose to tip it. SOLID!

HONK!

Chris Neil is so disgusting. Why did he have to score? Puke.

Oh gross. Gerbe is playing with Roy and Stafford- the two worst Sabres. Why did you do that to him Lindy?

Interesting bench shot of Lindy getting all friendly and "father-like" in his chat with Adam.

..........

That's one thing I really miss about going TO the games-- being able to start at whoever I wish all night.

Beau-ti-ful breakaway by Pommers but Karlsson caught up to him at the last minute and poked it away. Rats.

Attaboy Enroth! Solid Save on Alfie, then Brennan grabbed it from the air.. good work boys!

Royzie- you're playing with some effort tonight! Keep trying and maybe you'll score. Get there, bro.

I don't like this behind the net camera angle- I need the whole picture!

Awwww.. Gerbs was right at the net and JUSTmissed scoring. Man. That was close- some real good pressure.

And WOW could they get LESS enthusiastic people for the Independent Health commercials?

............

Oh man Harry, Rick and Rayzor are hilarious tonight!

Holy crow, Karlsson has a serious mullet.

2nd period is over- WOW Sabres are owning on faceoffs, but have 10 giveaways! BAD.

The O'Brien/Boyd commercials are SO depressing! And LOLZ at the people on the Blue Cross Blue Shield ones.. hahaha awesome dance moves- looks like me out there!

Time for the 3rd period. Let's Go Buffalo!

oh we're getting feisty out there. Wow boys. Channel that energy!

Looking at the bench again, is it me, or does Luke Adam just look lost? I think he just has those crazy wide eyes.

(fangirl moment) I love how Gerbe's numbers get all pulled into his hockey pants because there's nowhere else for them to go.

Yay Gerbe was the labatt player profile. It's your night my man! Make it happen!!!

Awww... what an effort by Kaleta and Gaustad! Too bad the Sens knocked the net off.

I'm having way too much fun tweeting about this game. Haha

GERBE GOT THE CARRUBA COLLISION OF THE GAME!!!!!! It's really his night. It's meant me be- he needs to score it here and win this game!

And we're going to Oooooooooovertime!

Now I'm totally stalking his videos on Sabres.com because I'm a spaz. (I'm in love)

His hair is out of control tonight- sticking out through his helmet. Gosh he's been playing SO well!

Why is he at the bottom of that dogpile? Way to pick on the little guy. Chris Neil, you're a jerk.

Shooooooooooootout time:

Vanek- misses net. Whoops
Michalek- SAAVE by Enroth!
Boyes- SCOOOORES!
Spezza- Scores. BOOOOOO!
Pominville- Scoooooores!!!!!
Alfie- Scores. Poop.
Roy- (will prob score)...... he doesn't. Grr.
Condra- (who I thought was Bondra all night) WOOOOOOOO SAVE!!!
Staffy- Blocked. Nice try, bro.
Butler- He faked Enroth out for the goal. :(

UGH. That was a sad ending to a really good game. Stoopid Sens.
*shoulda put Gerbe in the shootout!*

YAY they are interviewing him! Love the long hair.. the scar on his lip is sexxxxxy and the neck beard is gross. LOL I could go on but I'll spare you. ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody! Tomorrow I'll post my Sabres "new year's resolutions"...

Perhaps it's time to get with it

I FINALLY have nothing to do tonight.. so I'm watching the Sabres game. So far, so good.

I keep tweeting about it but I figured if I was going to do that I should just live-blog it instead.

So here's what we have so far..

1st Period
-Kassian with a SICK pass to Villain (Leino, I like to call him villain) for the first Sabres goal. I really dig Kassian.. he can stay!

-Oh more Sabres scoring- Kassian himself gets one and then Vanek. WOOO it's 3-0!

-Miller OWNS the heck out of Jagr on a breakaway! WOOOO!

-The the lame-o Flyers score with 1 second left in the period and here we are, 3-1. Blah on that. Fun little fight between Tropp and some scrub from Philly- junior hockey style.

But oh how I miss Harry and Rick. I hate the stupid VS announcers- they never know what's going on. Eddie just called Tyler Ennis Nathan Gerbe for a whole replay- while we could ALL see that it was Ennis. *sigh*

2nd Period:
-Miller gets hit in the head with the puck without his mask. He's bleeding a little.. gets patched up and he's back at it. Cool. Hockey players are crazy.

-Bourdon hits Gerbe from behind- really hard into the boards.. NOOOO! Poor Gerbs is playing with who-knows-how-many stitches in his face as it is (from last Friday) and he leaves the ice after that hit. (according to twitter, he was holding his arm? that's BAD!) :( My poor boy.

-But nice work Matt Ellis to stick up for the little guy. :)

-Ewww the Flyers scored again. Gross. That one just bounced away from Miller. Can't have 'em all man. Crappy giveaway by Ehrhoff though!

... oh dear I left the room for a few mins to help my sis put away some groceries and the Flyers scored 2 goals! WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!

.. Okay it's the end of the 2nd. Get it together fellas..

3rd period

-I have been joined by my 5-yr old nephew. Maybe he'll be good luck for the Sabres.

-Just reported that Gerbe left with "upper body" injury... will not return. BOOOOOOO! :(:(

-GET WITH IT SABRES! 9:25 left.. let's do it!

-I LOVE the Discover commercials. The Tim Thomas one is hilarious. Sooo brilliant!

-And why do they show Sonic commercials when the closest Sonic is in Binghamton? I don't even like Sonic that much but it's just weird..

-yeesh Ryan Miller is having a rough night. he's had his mask knocked off twice.

-WOOOOOHOOOOOO! or should I say DREEEEEEEEEEEWWWWW!!!

Overtime

here we go..

-GRRRRRR That was SO not okay. Gragnani you are FIRED.

Have I mentioned lately how much I strongly dislike Claude Giroux? Because I CAN'T STAND THAT GUY! (Or anyone else on the Flyers for that matter)

:(

This was NOT how this game was supposed to go. Gerbe is hurt, the Sabres gave up (another) 3-goal lead, and then they lost. Gross all around.

I'm out.

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

ouch

Well, that hurt.

No more Sabres.

No more Blackhawks.

But the playoffs are still on, and one of the good things about liking so many teams is I still have some small emotional stake in the playoffs- so go Red Wings and go Canucks...

I feel like I have more to say but now is not the moment. Later..

that is that

I haven't been posting about the Sabres much lately because I have been super busy and they just aren't interesting me much right now. Derek Roy is out, and he's not the only reason I watch the boys, but he helps. They haven't been playing very inspired hockey lately and I don't want to watch it.

Now I'm hardly throwing in the towel and giving up my hockey fandom (I've been through worse, believe me) but it's harder to fit the games in right now..

All that being said, I was AT the game today and I have a few thoughts:

-The game wasn't terrible but the Sabres just couldn't finish a play to save their lives. They had some looks (and a lot of funny bounces) but couldn't bury the biscuit. Ugh.
- I don't know how many times I have to say it but please, for the love of everything, GET THE HECK RID OF TIM CONNOLLY! He's worthless and frustrating and lazy and I am so sick of him I could just cry!
-I still love Nathan Gerbe. :) And the fact that he looks like somebody's kid brother who's just tagging along with the big boys.
-They were SO undisciplined in the first period. People were booing and jeering the calls but honestly, those were legit penalties. The refs were maybe calling the game a bit tighter than sometimes, but the Sabres were being careless and they got caught. Plain and simple. So shut your bellyaching and move along.
-Miller was pretty solid today. He made some stellar saves (especially on the 5-on-3) but his boys couldn't give him any help up front. Rough.
-It's SO WEIRD to go to hockey games at 12:30pm. Does. not. compute.

But by far the highlight of the day was seeing my boy Tyler Sloan playing for Washington. This is the fourth time I've seen him, and it's still amazing. I saw his first professional game in Dayton back in 2002. I knew him personally! I interviewed him on my radio show. I gave him a ride in my car. I have his game-worn jersey from Syracuse. (which I wore, of course.) He knows my name. And he's playing in the NHL. SO COOL. :) I got some good pics of him too, which I will post eventually. Too tired to deal with it tonight.

(and one of these days I will get to a game early enough that I can show my cheezy sign I made a year and a half ago and he will see it and know that I am at the game and maybe I'll get a smile or a wave or something. one day...I blame the schedulers, who contrive to make Caps games on bad days and at weird times so I can NEVER get there early. grumble.)

Happy Hockey Day Across America!

C'est fini.

what the?

Tonight might have been the first Derek Roy-less Sabres game I've been to since 2003 (before he was a Sabre). Crazy stuff. I miss my boy! (and I was stupidly excited to see the little interview him him on the website yesterday!)

So yeah.. about the game. WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED, BOYS?!

The first period was sweet. They came out hard and had a ton of shots and managed 2 quick scrappy goals. And I thought we might have a shot. Haha yeah right, this is the Sabres, remember?

Then they all forgot how to play hockey. No one was skating hard, no one was hitting (except Gerbe and Ennis- what the?), they were passing the puck to the Flyers.. it was ugly.

I thought Gerbe was decent tonight. He was all over the ice, hitting guys and scampering around like a maniac, but to no avail. He was trying though, which is more than I can say for some of the Sabres.

I still cannot stand Tim Connolly's play. WHY IS HE STILL A SABRE? I have said this over and over again- and tonight I heard at least 3 other people comment on the worthlessness of Connolly. UGH.

Stafford wasn't too good tonight, and neither was Pominville. These guys need to step it up.

Mike Weber looked like he was going to kill someone tonight. He is an intense looking dude. I was really noticing him- he was right in front of my face all night (our seats are in row 2, section 116, so right inside the blue line- where he is for faceoffs and such for 2 periods so he was standing out for me tonight.) He's taller than I thought.. and again, I wanted to see him bust someone's face. He and Carcillo might've made a nice bout.

Goose and Hartnell was a sweet fight. Then Hartnell gave away his stick while he was in the penalty box. I saw it happen- craziest thing ever- some kid comes over and he just passes it over the glass. WHOA. That was pretty cool, even though I can't stand him. Points for him.

I sat next to a random cute guy at the game. He and his buddy were Flyers fans (gross), but he was wearing a Winnipeg Jets Teemu Selanne jersey- random! SO of course I asked him about the jersey and he said he's been a Selanne fan forever. Cool, cool. And I asked if he actually liked the Jets or just Teemu to which he replied "I'm a Coyotes fan". Good for him. We sort of had a conversation, but I felt like he didn't want to talk to me. (he seemed impressed when I actually knew something about hockey..) It was entertaining enough- and he was cute-- and not rude about cheering for the flyers- he was cheering but being cool about it-- so yay for that.

Time to move on- unlike half of Buffalo, I'm not living in the past. Briere is gone- yes, I know- he scores on us all the time, that bastard- now GET OVER IT! Next game-Hurricanes.. bring it on! (no more Ray Whitney though, which is sad. I enjoyed seeing him!) I may be in attendance at the next game.. we'll see. Till then..

S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G

OKay this is maybe amusing to me because I am such a spaz about spelling and grammar. Though this is more of a editing thing, it still should not have happened.

I was perusing the NHL-jobs website today (I do this every day, still looking for that elusive non-sales calls hockey job) and I saw this listing:
al
"Communications Internship - Edmotnon Oilers Hockey Club (Edmonton, AB)"

Yep, I want to work in communications for the Edmotnon Oilers. Clearly what they need is a copy-editor. Yeesh. I am not above the occasional typo myself, but this is just a personal blog. When I used to publish game stories to the internet for the minor league hockey team I worked for, I would proofread them 5 times to make sure all the names were right. Hello- spellcheck would have caught that one. I just find it particularly ironic, considering the context of the job it's listing.

In Sabres news, what a mess last night's game was. C'mon boys- get with it! (I'm looking at YOU (in particular), Tim Connolly, Drew Stafford, Thomas effing Vanek) Thank you, Derek Roy, for remembering how to score goals. Please share this magic with the rest of the team. How is it that the Sabres have 9 goals- 5 have been scored by Roy, 2 by Leopold.. and just 2 by the other 17 (non-goaltender) guys on the roster? W.T.F.?

Maybe tonight will be the turning point. Maybe tonight I can sit down and watch a whole game- something I have not yet done, except for the game I went to. Let's Go Buffalo?

That is all, thank you.

Thursday, October 14, 2010

hmm

Maybe I'm living in my own universe or maybe it's cuz my seats are so close and I'm easily distracted or maybe cuz I'm an optimist, but tonight was NOT the worst Sabres game I've ever been to. (see December 30, 2008 and December 7, 2009 for examples) It was far from the best, but I wasn't as bored/bothered/sickened/disgusted/etc as the general population seems to be. It was a bit sloppy, especially in the first period. The boys just didn't seem to be synced up very well, but there were some moments of decency. Miller owned everybody tonight and we have to remember we were playing the Devils- who (even though they've been crappy thus far this season) are typically a very good defensive team- and Marty Brodeur is a stud. I heard on the post-game that the Devils blocked 18 shots. I don't doubt it.

So yeah.. not the worst game, not the best either. Vanek MUST be better. Connolly is a lazy piece of shit. SOMEONE needed to score a goal (not looking at you, Ilya). Eh.. I wish they had won, but I'm not hitting the panic button yet. The season is young and the boys have a lot of potential to be decent this year.

but what is up with Myers? He's so hesitant this year.. like he's afraid he's going to make a mistake, so he doesn't know what to do with the puck. I don't like this Myers, I want the old one back! :(

eww

Well, that was gross. I only saw about 5 minutes of this game, but that was enough.

Blech.

Stoopid Rangers. Wake up Sabres- get back with it. I can't really comment on the game since I didn't see it. (We went to Letchworth State Park today to look at the gorgeous leaves! Well worth the trip and better than what was on the ice tonight, eh?)

But whatev, it's just game 2/82. Not the end of the world.

So yeah, I'm just going to pretend that didn't happen and look forward to the Blackawks! on Monday. Wish I was going to that game. My bro-in-law has tickets- that I often get to use, but he already promised the ones for Monday to a friend who is taking his son for his bday. I'll just have to drool over Sharpie watch the game on tv.

And the quote of the night goes to the new Geico commercial:
"Maybe we should truck over to namby-pamby land where we can find some self-confidence for you, ya jackwagon!"

Awesome. Can someone share this with Vanek, please? ;)

asukeysdiguhlfdiugdsihfdsolfja

Blah the title says it all I think.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT THE SENATORS OF DOOM THAT MAKES THEM SOOOOO SCARY?!?!

No one knows... and yet they seem to have the Sabres' number.

And I definitely said more than once tonight- "Jason Spezza- I HATE THAT GUY!" So true.

ALfie too- seriously Sabres- you left Alfredson (I know he has a double letter in there and I can never remember which one it is and I'm too lazy to care) alone right in front of your net? HELLLOOOO! Who was (supposed to be) playing defence? PATHETIC.

Those 20 seconds or however close it was between Sekera and Connolly's goals were SOOOO MUCH FUN! I haven't seen the arena that lively in a long time. We had a great jam in our section for that little bit- and the girl next to me called both of those goals- it was kind eerie- she said "The Sabres really need to score here" seconds before Andrej put it in, then "Let's do it again" as Timmy was going top shelf (where mama hides the cookies) for goal two. That's when we noticed and we tried to effect the same mojo but it wasn't to be. :(

The worst thing is that it wasn't a terrible game. The Sabres were really on the first period. They sat back a little in the 2nd and let the Sens creep up but really they didn't give up on the game.. they had a few rough breaks (and a total defensive lapse) but overall it was an okay effort. Still a loss though and this one hurts. Now only 3 points separate our two teams. This could get interesting..

What is going on with Vanek? I did not like his play tonight. He seemed to be doing too much with the puck and his skating was kinda slow and sluggish.. or maybe it was just me. He didn't seem to have any pep, and had trouble keeping up with Roy, who was really putting on some speed tonight. Anyone else notice this?

gross

I turned the game on in the 2nd period and it was tied 3-3. Then the Sabres forgot how to play hockey and Sidney Crosby "is Sidney Crosby" and suddenly the Pens are winning 5-3 and there are hats on the ice. (which a local boy scout collects *in Pitt at least*, washes and sends to needy kids. COOL)

The Sabres' puck possession in the 2nd and most of the 3rd was PATHETIC and rather non-existent. Guys, that is NOT a way to win a hockey game. It was rather painful to watch. The late rally was almost okay but still.. it never should have gotten there. Boo on you guys.

Ottawa on Wednesday and I'll be there. I think the Sabres won the last Sens (home) game I was at. I saw them twice last year at home and once on the road vs. Ottawa but I think they won the 2nd home game. So maybe there's hope. Probably not. I mean, it *is* Ottawa (Les Senateurs OF DOOM!) and they just got Spezza back and they're on a hot streak so I'm sure the Sabres will lose.

On the other hand, they are alright with me in attendance this year (I think they've only lost 2 out of 7?) and they may just surprise us. I surely hope so.

In the meantime, I finally finished my lifelong (well okay not lifelong, but at least something I've wanted for the last 15 years) dream of creating a skating surface in my yard! Long story but our pond won't freeze and I've tried various methods of rink-creation to no avail until this year.. the elements and my time schedule and some really intense hard work and perseverance came together and NOW I have ICE IN MY YARD! :) Happiness of this magnitude knows no words.

Blimey

Well that was an interesting game. They really made it fun at the end. I have only a few thoughts on the game.

Settle down Timmy, Miller actually tripped Parise, which is while he fell. Oh, that. I appreciate you sticking up for your goalie, but relax a little. It looked like his head was going to explode.. that can't be healthy.

I effing LOVE Marty Brodeur. This is not news, nor is it a secret at all. I don't even feel bad about it because I've liked Marty for a long time now- much longer than I've been a Sabres fan. I did feel a bit weird wearing my Marty's Better shirt but that was only for warmups, I was cheering for the Sabres all night, had my jersey on and everything.

I felt like such a nerd during warmups.. I was all spazzy and **EEEEEE* Marty!!! Langenbrunner!! David *drool* Clarkson!! Pariseeeeee!!!! Madden!!! Shanny!! It was great. Heeeheee.

Mike Mottau kept giving me stares and smirks.. every time he skated past during warmups. It was weird. He's kinda cute though.

David Clarkson is GORGEOUS. I know this is well documented, but pictures and videos do not do him justice- the guy is just... dreamy. Wow. Yeah I was melting every time he skated past. It was ridiculous.

And that is about that. I think the Sabres are still not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs but the chances get slimmer and slimmer. However, if they continue to play like they did for the 3rd period tonight then at least we will enjoy the rest of the season, and maybe steal a couple of games.

puke

Wow that was rough. I barely watched the game because I was not home but when I turned it on, it was 2-1. Then 3-1. Left the room for a moment and it was 4-1 and I said screw this, I'm out.

Didn't watch another second of the game so I really can't comment on anything but the final score. 5-2? That BLOWS. And the goal scorers were Max and Yo-yo (who has apparently re-learned how to find the back of the net.) Too little too late my friends.

The playoff window just keeps shrinking.

I turned off a hockey game in disgust. That does not happen often. I will never LEAVE a game early (even a rout) but I will occasionally turn one off that is too painful to bear. (and this is saying something, as I have sat through some truly terrible games in the past 15ish years). I just didn't have the heart to see them get destroyed again. At least for the Ottawa game, I had the comfort of great friends (and a bottle of Canadian, LOL) But tonight it was just me and I didn't feel like torturing myself.

In other, happier hockey news, the Blue Jackets SHUT OUT the Bruins, in Columbus. That's pretty fun. My sis was there to see it. At least they are playing well. I'm trying to muster up some sort of feeling for Columbus, or New Jersey (Marty is back and all) and I do love them, but they aren't MY BOYS. My boys are horrible right now and it's making me very very sad.

Alas, it's only a game. and it's not over yet. I'm not quite counting us out until the numbers make it so, but MAN are we digging a hole.. yeesh.

Blah.

thoughts

Good pressure in the last minute or so but not enough.

The Sabres looked tired.

Since when does Bret Hedican play for the Ducks? I liked him, he's an old Canuck. But now he is dead to me. I despise the Ducks.

I've never liked Chris Pronger. I hated him before I ever saw him play, when he was just a dude on a hockey card. He's just... gross.

Scott Niedermayer is OLD.

And that's about it. I only caught part of the 3rd period so I can't really say much about the game itself.

All in all, not a bad road trip though it would have been nice to win tonight for Patrick Lalime. Poor guy never gets any love.

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

I guess we'll file that one under boys will be boys then..

So I was going to watch the game real-time, but we actually went to a St. Bonaventure basketball game with some ppl from church so by the time I got home it was the 3rd period. But I did dvr the game so..

This is a sorta but not really "live" blog. I am watching the game on a dvr-delay but I know that late in the 3rd the Sabres were losing so basically I'm watching the game for something to do and only sort of paying attention.

Ah the Sabres scored- that's an intersting line: Mair, Gaustad and Kotalik? Well it worked. 1-0 Sabres.

Ew the 'Hawks scored. At least it was Patrick Sharp, who is on my fantasy team.

Blah. WHY is Chris Butler sitting? He has earned a spot. He is playing better than several of our veterans.

MMmmmm Sharpie. Oh sorry, I was distracted there by a closeup. Sorry feeling very hormonal and it just needs an outlet sometimes.

Who am I kidding? I know the Sabres lost this game but it's been so long since I've watched hockey on tv that I feel like I need to see it through. We'll see how long it lasts. (probably till I get bored of writing this entry.)

EEK that second goal was nasty. Poor Lalime. He just can't catch a break. He really is a better goalie than the numbers would make it seem.

Awww a little *squee* in HeatherB's direction for the piece on Hank. *aside to Heather: I've got it on the DVR, want me to dvd it for you?* Wow his kids are adorable and it was way too cute the way he was talking about sledding with them!

Why is the color so off on this broadcast? Is the lighting in the United Center all whacked out or something?

Why do the Sabres suck on the power play? Seriously. To paraphrase Harry, you need to "sniff out those rebounds" boys.

Can we get over Soupy already? I'm done. I've been done since last year before he left us. Enough Already.

Oh Patty Lalime- I'm sorry dog but Havlat just undressed you with that 3rd Chi goal. He picked his spot and ripped it in. :( It burns us!

Is anybody else annoyed by the Blackhawks goal song? I like ours much better.

How gross is that lung cancer commercial? Puke city. Ha that commercial followed by a Tim Horton's commercial.. that's just wrong.

ugh this game is just lame. What happened to our bustin New Year's boys? Where did they go? I'm currently searching out pictures of Patrick Sharp (there aren't very many, what is UP that with?) because I want him to be my Hockey SAB because he is SO VERY LOVELY but I haven't decided who he looks like yet.. besides what I'd like to see every night before I close my eyes. HAHA how lame was that? I thought it was kinda funny actually. It's good to make yourself laugh at least.

Just caught a close-up of Royzie and it looks like he shaved. Guess what? NO points for Mr. Roy tonight. He is just futhering my theory. Derek, don't you read my blog? Haven't you noticed this trend, because I surely have. Yep. You lose.

Okay I am done rambling because I have nothing to say about this game. The boys aren't able to get anything done and it sucks. I may or may not finish watching but really... you have 6 minutes (in a row) of PP time and NOTHING? NOTHING? ARGH! Lindy was probably not happy after this one.

Yeah I'm off to internet-stalk Sharpie and find him a celebrity look-alike. Later peeps.

Thursday, December 4, 2008

Oh yeah

Woot Patrick Elias had 2 goals tonight! He's on my fantasy team.. I dearly hope he was playing tonight for me. *checks* NOOO Crap! Fail. I am made of fail.

Just like the sabres. In their defence, they played relatively decently tonight. I didn't like the goals that Florida scored, and Miller saved their bacon more than once, but you have to give some credit to Anderson- he was really on. And he really stopped 45/46 shots tonight. Damn. Our guys were getting it to the net.. for once.

Ugh. That's annoying but at least the effort was there.

I don't think I'm alone on this, but I'm kinda Kevin Sylvestered-out this season. Anyone else? I like the guy, but there's toooooo much Kevin. I miss Rayzor and Roby (I have barely had a chance to watch many games this season and most of the ones I can sit down for are on the road.)

Aside to Derek Roy- PLEASE grow your sexy lucky 3-day scruffy beard again. It makes you score goals. pleaseandthankyou

And one more thing before I go to read my book-that is better than the hockey I've been watching lately- how HIDEOUS are the Flyers jerseys? Puke. They are just garish and painfully ugly.
